Anyone who knows me for more than a couple of minutes knows that I'm
totally in awe of animals. I follow the belief that since humans have
taken over the earth from animals, it is our responsibility to care for
them. And while I don't do a good job helping with rainforest
preservation, stopping big oil's whale attacks, preventing livestock
from being raised inhumanely, or a myriad of other awesome animal
causes, the one thing that I do (a little too much) is open my home and
heart to little critters.
There has only been a brief
time in my life when I didn't have an animal companion. That's when I
was in college living in the dorms. After I graduated from school, I
immediately got a new pet because I recognized that void in my life. So,
in these pages, I want to tell you all about my furry little friends,
both ones that I currently have and ones who have passed on but really
left an imprint on my heart.
